Doctoral Programme in Mathematics and Applications

Prerequisites for admission:
To hold a masters degree in mathematics or a related subject or otherwise a degree or a scientific or professional curriculum which provides adequate scientific preparation in mathematics or a related subject.

Selection criteria: Candidates will be selected according to
(i) academic curriculum
(ii) scientific curriculum
(iii) professional curriculum
(iv) objectives and motivation to attend the programme, as from the CV, reference letters and the letter of intent.

Applications:
1st phase: from the 4th May until the 17th May 2015.
2nd phase: from the 6th July until the 24th August 2015.

Documents needed:
1) Curriculum Vitae;
2) Copies of transcripts of degrees held, including complete course grade listings and marks, with specification of scientific area, number of hours and relative weight (CU or ECTS) when-ever possible.
3) Reference letters from 3 people holding a PhD in mathematics or related subject
4) Letter of intent clearly stating the objectives and motivation for attending this programme.
5) Statement of general proficiency in the English language, supported by a diploma whenever possible.
6) Copy of ID, citizen card or passport.
